HK590I Stereo Receiver

The HK590i boasts a robust preamplifier and amplifier with Harman Kardon's renowned High Instantaneous Current Capability, delivering 45 watts per channel and 35 amps of instantaneous current. Its dynamic behavior approaches ideal, providing nearly double the transient power into 4 ohms and nearly quadruple into 2 ohms, resulting in louder, clearer, and cleaner sound compared to other 45 watt receivers.

With an ultra-wideband frequency response of 0.2Hz to 150kHz, the HK590i's amplifier section ensures rapid transient response, working in tandem with the phono section's dual RIAA circuitry for open, transparent sound. To prevent digital switching noise or bleed-through, the tuner section shuts down when phono or aux buttons are pressed.

Customize tone control characteristics with switchable bass and treble turnover frequencies, while tone defeat and 2-way tape copy capability add versatility. The digitally synthesized quartz-locked tuner allows manual tuning or automatic scanning to the next station, with 8 AM and 8 FM memory presets for added convenience.
